I am going camping soon and I want cooking ideas that do not involve equipment more the foil or sticks. Also any info on foods the will keep for a day or two without a fridge. And how long will eggs/meat things of that nature last?
Remember I am not bringing any pots or pans just something basic like tinfoil so ideas/ recipes for that, cooking with sticks (kabobs, ect.), or frying eggs on a rock
Lots of foil recipes at the site listed below. Cornish hens cook over an open fire on a stick, potatoes,green peppers, onions and which ever sauce you like smothered over all can be done on a stick over an open fire. Itallian sausage and hot dogs work well on a stick. If you want h-burg, try pre made meatballs. Thaw them and cook them over open fire on stick. Use to do lots of camping..love cooking over an open fire.
